Sea is a continuing body of work within Ivailo Stanev’s E-motion series, photographed across different coastlines. The sea is reduced to movement, light and broad fields of colour, while the horizon is often the only element that still anchors the image to a place. Changes in water, weather and light give each image its own structure.
