Books that carry the image beyond the frame — collected for their authorship, rarity, or quiet strength.
Some are signed. Others long out of print.
All chosen with the same attention we give to every work on the wall.
The Books Collection reflects a parallel aspect of Monochrome Hub Gallery — a place where photographic works are not only exhibited, but also read, collected and lived with. Each title in this selection has been chosen for its authorship, rarity or the quiet strength with which it carries the photographic image beyond the frame of exhibition. Some books are signed, others long out of print, yet all share a presence that endures.
We approach these books as objects with their own gravity: works shaped by thoughtful editing, deliberate sequencing and the physical intimacy of the printed page. A well-made photobook holds a kind of attention different from a framed work — slower, more immersive, grounded in touch and time. Collecting books is part of understanding photography as a lived experience.
The titles gathered here mirror the values that guide our gallery practice. They represent authors whose vision we respect, editions that carry historical or artistic significance, and books whose depth invites repeated return. Each volume is selected with the same care we give to every work on the wall, offering a way to bring photography into daily life in its most tangible form.
Curated by Monochrome Hub, this collection exists not as an inventory, but as an ongoing conversation — a growing library shaped by curiosity, discernment and a sustained commitment to the printed image over time.
