ABOUT US
ABOUT US
Monochrome Hub Gallery was founded in Valencia in 2018 around the photographic archive of Ivailo Stanev.
The gallery represents and manages Stanev’s work across more than 25 years of photography, from long-term documentary and artistic projects to photographs originating in editorial commissions. The archive continues to develop as existing bodies of work expand and previously unseen photographs are selected from different periods of his practice.
Alongside Stanev’s archive, Monochrome Hub occasionally presents work by invited guest artists whose practices have a meaningful connection to the gallery’s curatorial direction.
Works by Ivailo Stanev are presented through three distinct formats: Collector Editions, Limited Series and Poster Now. Each has its own edition structure, production specifications and documentation, allowing the history and status of every work to remain clear.
Editions
Editions
Each format has its own edition structure, production specifications and place within the archive.
To be published is to be trusted.
The photographs in this collection originate from a different context — one of commission, selection, and public viewing.
Many first appeared in leading international magazines — including Esquire, Playboy, Maxim, Harper’s Bazaar, among others — chosen to carry stories, define moods, and represent something larger than themselves.
Others never made it to print — not for lack of strength, but because the page had limits. Too bold. Too tender. Too complex to share space with a headline.
What unites them is their visual power and the fact that they were once invited into the process — and now, released from it.
Each work is offered as a signed, limited edition — marked by a history of trust and a chance to endure on its own terms.

A smaller selection within the archive.
Collector Editions identifies works of particular significance in Stanev’s practice — photographs connected to defining projects, visual directions or periods of his work.
The selection is made by Monochrome Hub Gallery in close collaboration with the artist and remains deliberately limited.
Photography in an open format.
Poster Now allows selected photographs from Stanev’s archive to exist independently as photographic posters. The works are unnumbered open editions, with their own formats and production specifications.
New photographs are introduced to the collection over time.
