ABOUT US

Monochrome Hub is a gallery for quiet photography — a space where each work is selected for its presence, depth and authorship.

Founded in 2018, the gallery is built around the evolving photographic archive of Ivailo Stanev. Its long-term commitment is to preserve, curate and present a practice developed across decades — from archival prints and limited editions to collector pieces and contemporary series.

Alongside this core archive, Monochrome Hub occasionally presents selected works by invited guest artists whose practices enter into dialogue with the gallery’s curatorial direction.

Each photograph is offered within a clearly defined edition: as a collector’s piece, a limited edition or an open print. Together, these works form a considered selection that respects the image, its making and its place within the wider archive.

Editions

Every edition carries its own weight — defined by number, authorship, intention, and care.

LIMITED SERIES

Signed. Numbered. Released with intent.

These are official works by Ivailo Stanev — offered in limited series, carefully produced, and never reprinted once sold out.

Each photograph is hand-signed and comes with a fixed edition size. Edition counts are kept small — though not as rare as the pieces in our Collector’s Vault. Select works by guest artists may also appear here, presented with the same level of care and precision.

Limited in number. Expansive in presence.

THE MAGAZINE COLLECTION

To be published is to be trusted.

The photographs in this collection originate from a different context — one of commission, selection, and public viewing.

Many first appeared in leading international magazines — including Esquire, Playboy, Maxim, Harper’s Bazaar, among others — chosen to carry stories, define moods, and represent something larger than themselves.

Others never made it to print — not for lack of strength, but because the page had limits. Too bold. Too tender. Too complex to share space with a headline.

What unites them is their visual power and the fact that they were once invited into the process — and now, released from it.

Each work is offered as a signed, limited edition — marked by a history of trust and a chance to endure on its own terms.

Stories on paper. Written in light.

COLLECTOR’S VAULT

One-of-a-kind, early, or archived — these are the most closely held pieces in the artist’s practice.

Rare even among limited editions, these works are offered only in select sizes and quantities — and are never reprinted. Some editions are marked with Roman numerals, set apart as rarer, special-format releases.

Each work is hand-signed, certified, and accompanied by full provenance from the gallery. Some are the last of their kind. Others — never publicly shown before.

They are not part of circulation. They are part of a legacy.

POSTER NOW

Not mass-produced. Not ordinary.

Our posters are created with the same visual standards that define the rest of Monochrome Hub — printed with archival inks on high-grade, gallery-standard paper and authenticated with a unique hologram.

Some pieces in this collection offer a more accessible format of iconic limited works — designed to carry the same presence, without the restriction of numbered series.

These works are made to move freely — to bring stillness, clarity, and form into everyday spaces.

Available to more. Still made to stay.

The making of meaning.

01.

A quiet selection.

Primarily Ivailo Stanev.

Occasionally a guest. Always chosen with intent.

Each inclusion is a decision — made not to fill space, but to hold it.

02.

Archival. Curated.

Each work is selected from the artist’s archive — curated for context, resonance, and longevity.

Not mass-produced. Not rotated. Shown with purpose, preserved with care.

03.

Certified. Signed.

Each piece is hand-signed and numbered by the artist.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity — a mark of origin, value, and trust.

Issued only once, the certificate is part of the work’s collectible legacy — protecting its provenance, uniqueness, and future significance.

04.

Quality. Made.

Printed with archival pigment inks on carefully selected photographic papers.

Framed in matte black aluminum or, for select works, handcrafted wood — with acid-free passe-partout.

Materials are chosen to preserve depth, tonal range, and longevity — without distraction.

We value authorship.

We respect silence.

We choose slowly — and invite you to do the same.
