Called the first Mexican photographer, Lola Álvarez Bravo is considered a modernist photographer.
She is known for her documentary images of Mexican daily life, experimental photomontages and portraits of prominent figures in the Mexican intellectual environment of her time, highlighting her close friends Frida Kahlo and María Izquierdo. He had a relevant role in the cultural scene of his country.
