SOBRE EL FOTÓGRAFO:
Penko Skumov es fotógrafo y diseñador gráfico de Sofía, Bulgaria. Nacido en Burgas en 1978, creció en Pomorie, en la costa del Mar Negro. Ha estudiado historia del arte y estudios culturales en la Nueva Universidad Búlgara de Sofía. Es cofundador y miembro del grupo de fotografía Naos. Entre 2001 y 2009 han organizado y participado en numerosas exposiciones fotográficas. Sus fotografías se publican en las revistas “Mirna”, “Cristianismo y Cultura”, “Svet”, en números de la editorial Omofor, etc. Desde 2015 trabaja especialmente en los géneros de fotografía callejera y documental.
Miembro del Colectivo BULB (Liga Urbana Balcánica sin Fronteras) desde noviembre de 2018.
Profesor de BECA (Antes de Crear Academia) desde su fundación.
